I was wondering if anyone can contribute some advice on this. I be given a brand new Coach leather shoulder bag for Christmas. However, whenever I take it to work and it rubs against my white lab coat when I bearing it leaves black stains on my lab coat. Any suggestions how to stop this from happening? Thanks!!
Answers: The rucksack is "dry crocking" - transfering color in the absenteeism of a moisture carrier- I would be careful using a non-coach product as this may blankness any warrenty etc- I think visit the store with your lab coat and the purse and seeing what they will do- they may exchange the bag and contribute you some sort of compensation for your lab coat/trouble.
* Try Scotchguarding the leather bag. The protective coating may stop dye from transferring to your lab coat.

* You can soak your lab coat surrounded by a Sodium dithionite soln to remove dye transfer. The contraction properties of sodium dithionite also eliminate excess dye, residual oxide, and unintended pigments, thereby rising overall color quality.
